The High Contributor CS/AI Ambassador Award mattered to me because it represented more than participation.
It represented the kind of campus culture I believe in.
A strong CS and AI community should not only be about who can code the best. It should also be about who helps others start, who creates resources, who collaborates, and who makes the environment more welcoming.
What contribution looked like
This year, I contributed through events and work including:
- Digital Portfolio Workshop
- Admitted Student Day
- Catalina Foothills High School Panel
- MESA Competition
- monthly ambassador meetings
- toolkit and competition committee work
A lot of impact comes from showing up consistently.
My belief
Collaboration happens at the top, competition at the bottom.
If we want a stronger campus technology community, students need to help each other build, share resources, and create spaces where people feel welcome to begin.
What I am carrying forward
The best technical communities produce more than good code. They produce confidence, opportunity, and momentum.
That is the culture I want to keep helping build.
